What do we really know about Gov. Sarah Palin?

Did you know that Sarah Palin was a book burning Nazi?

Did you know that Sarah Palin once hunted an Inuit Eskimo elder and has his skull on her desk?

Did you know Sarah Palin once ate a baby?

Did you know Sarah Palin was the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza?

Did you know that Sarah Pailin bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th,1941?

Did you know that Sarah Palin convinced The Beatles to break up in the early 70's?

Did you know it was Sarah Palin's idea for 'NEW COKE'?

Did you know Sarah Palin buys every available Nintendo Wii and burns them so no one else can find them?

Did you know Sarah Palin seceded from the U.S. and fired the first shots on Fort Sumter in 1861 starting the Civil War.

If you answered 'NO' to these it's because they're not true. Newsweek has an article factchecking the other smears put forth by the media and Obamacons here.

Something else I'd like to point out. I've heard others saying they can't respect Sarah Palin because she went back to work 3 days after giving birth to her special needs child. First off, she showed up for a meeting and then worked on a limited basis.Here's an excerpt from the article in USAToday dated April 21st.2008:

Palin didn't spend the entire day at work, but she did meet in Anchorage with her gas line team, which is preparing for a special legislative session.
Leighow said the governor will be working on a limited basis for a while. The Republican governor is in her second year as Alaska's chief executive.

I have a feeling that many of the people who criticize her 'CHOICE' for this would have applauded her CHOICE to terminate her pregnancy of a special needs child, just a few months prior, because she's a working woman and it would have burdened her, and since she's a governor, her state, to have that child.

Liberal columnist Kirsten Powers (I must divulge I have an extreme crush on her and would go liberal for her) has a great article in todays New York Post addressing the smears and double standards thrown at Sarah Palin and how it's hurting Obama. Read it here

If Palin was a democrat, or pro-choice, or a man, these judgements, accusations, and smears would not be tolerated by the 'progressive' and 'tolerant' liberal.
